Meet Our Physicians

Sawsan Najmey, MD, MSc

Dr. Najmey is a board-certified rheumatologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Rheumatology at St. Michael's Medical Center in New Jersey. She serves as Director of Rheumatology for Graduate Medical Education at Ocean University Medical Center and is the New Jersey Chapter Leader of the Association of Women in Rheumatology. An experienced educator, researcher, and patient advocate, Dr. Najmey is the recipient of the Arthritis Foundation's Woman on the Move Award. She is known for combining extensive clinical expertise with compassion, careful listening, and a commitment to helping patients achieve meaningful improvements in their health and quality of life.

Ghadeer Hasan, MD, MPH

Dr. Hasan is a board-certified rheumatologist dedicated to caring for patients with a wide range of rheumatic diseases. She earned her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where she also completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine, before completing her Rheumatology fellowship at NYU Langone. Dr. Hasan is dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each patient's individual needs. She believes in building strong partnerships with her patients through open communication, shared decision-making, and personalized treatment plans that help relieve symptoms, restore function, and support long-term health and well-being.
